GREAT BRITISH MODEL RAILWAY SHOW, GAYDON
(27/10/2024)
Garry Moore, Andi, John Brookes, Matthew Tozer & Gary Taberner, were joined by Kevin & Ian (John B’s acquaintances) to operate the group's modules at the Gaydon show.
The 0-16.5 modules were attached to John Brookes’ Severn Mill layout at one end, and a ”fiddle yard” (borrowed from the West Midlands Group of the 7mm NGA) at the other, forming an “L” shape, each “leg” approximately 5 metres long, giving a total running length of about 10 metres.
Kettering & District Model Railway Club Exhibition (07/09/24)
A mixed gauge general model railway show held at All Saints Church Hall in Kettering
Pete had his SM32 layout on display amongst 15 other layouts.
Friend of the group - Peter Bell - was alongside Pete with his 009 quarry layout which entertained many of the younger visitors who got the chance to load the train.

This was a new event for 2024, organised alongside the heritage railway.
A marquee on site provided a range of layouts and a trade area manged by Tony's Trains of Hillmorton Locks.
Graeme was next to our layouts with his trade stand and also assisted with some layout operating on the Sunday.
Other displays were on the platform and around the site.
